New Mom Blues
Life of a mom is so busy that I have not even gotten around to starting my blog... running around after my 2 kids and everything else I have going on life is hectic.
Right now is a rare quite moment - My little boy and girl is asleep :) This is a huge thing since I have been dealing with crying babies all day long and I have a 2 month old son that keeps throwing up at least once a day and the doctors say that it is just a phase and he will grow out of it.
When he throws up it worries me. But there is nothing I can do about it but spread out his feeding.
I guess I should explain - my son was born 9 lbs 2 ounces - since he was so big (and continues to be so big) they had to start bottle feeding him so his blood sugar would stay a healthy levels – he had to be fed every 3 hours round the clock for the first 3 weeks of his life. After that he continued to wake up every 3 hours crying hungry. He has been big since birth at his 2 week check up (after he had lost the baby weight) he weighed 10 lbs 6 ounces. I am not sure why but he is hungry all the time and he always wants to eat – sometimes he will eat and then he gags himself and chokes and cough and sometimes he throws up. When he does throw-up it is projectile vomiting and gets all over me and him. The Brightside of him throwing-up is that we get to take a bath I love the bath and he also loves the bath. The only time he does not throw-up is when I spread out his feedings but then he cries and cries….
I am at my wits end - I don’t know what to do…
